Richard Price

Richard serves as senior vice president of DurhamLoyal, Florida’s premier full-service financial advisory firm. He complements the DurhamLoyal family with his 40-plus years of experience and knowledge of investments, insurance, Social Security, tax and income planning strategies, asset protection, business succession and estate planning.

 

As a Chartered Financial Consultant® and Certified Financial Retirement Advisor™, Richard helps Middle America employees and business owners plan for and manage risks in life and retirement. To this end, he leverages his professional experience in developing appropriate, easy-to-follow financial and/or retirement plans with a focus on practical, real-world applications that are customized for each individual and their family.

 

As an educator, Richard taught college-level courses in conservative investing (Nova University), money management (FIU), leadership, Social Security, retirement planning and various other financial programs. He served as a consultant to BPAA (Broward Principals’ & Assistants’ Association) for retirement planning, helping Florida Retirement System participants and others transition into their retirement years.

 

As a senior instructor for the Federal Benefits Educational Association (FBEA), Richard provides financial education for individuals and corporations throughout Florida.

Richard was married to his late wife, Sherry Lynn, for 43 years and has four children and nine grandchildren. He is active in church, civic and professional organizations, serving on educational and township boards in Broward County, Florida. His hobbies include travel, fine wine, dinner with friends and family, and Fort Lauderdale’s annual boat show.
